pagi aku baru separuh gelas coffee aku minum, aku terus gi jumpa boss. until aku settle things ngan dia, aku tak selera. HR kat US dah kata, there'll be NO PAPERWORK till i hear from your boss.

ok dia dalam office. aku pon tanya update pasal aku punya release date yg dia kata akan bincang dengan supervisor dia. reply dia..

'i'm still waiting for miss xxx to confirm when she will come in to work. i think she's waiting for the arrangement with her HR '.

(btw, miss xxx ni sedang berada di USA where she has been for the past 2 years, training for the company yg baru2 nie closed down because of recession. plannyer, dia ni akan balik ke singapore dan re-join our company. dan boss aku nak about 3 weeks untuk aku brief pasal aku punya workload supaya this girl boleh take over. pada boss aku, selagi this girl tak confirm bila masuk office, dia tak nak issue release date)

loh. still waiting lagi ker? dah dekat 2 minggu okay.

'but she's already confirmed her flight ticket back on nov 14th'.. aku balas. aku dapat info nie dari another colleague. plus, miss xxx ni pernah message aku dalam facebook. pempuan ni dah booked ticket balik, so ada masalah apa lagi ngan HR kat sana? jadual dah clear kan? so boss aku boleh tau bila dia join masuk, so just make sure release date aku at least 3 minggu lepas tuh. aku mintak release date end december, ada lebih 5 minggu. apa problemnyer? issue jer lah!

'wait i see if she had replied my mail'... so boss aku pon terus godeh2 mailbox dia, macam laa ada 1000000 mail yg dia kena sort out dan carik mail dari pempuan tuh. aku pulak tercegat depan pintu. duduk pon tidak. yelah, kalau aku duduk selesa depan dia, lagi lama pulak nanti dia mencarik pelan2.

tiba2 ada pulak sorang manager masuk bilik boss aku tanya pasal work stuff. cheh kacau daun btol. terus boss aku tinggalkan monitor dia dan discuss ngan mamat tuh. aku pulak sambung tercegat depan pintu, ada laa 5 minit. kadang2 mengangguk tanda paham laa apa yg they all discuss, ala2 nak tunjuk that i belong there kan, padahal haram takde kena mengena ngan aku. aku cuma harap they all cepat habis discuss supaya aku boleh sambung sessi ngan boss aku.

lepas mamat tu blah, boss aku pandang aku dan kata, 'err i'll get back with you regarding the date'.

apa kes? but ok laa... sebab issue yg they all discuss tadi nampak macam high profile jek, so aku pon pasrah laa. takpe nanti dekat2 nak lunch aku pester boss aku lagi.

tapi later dekat2 nak tengahari, aku tengah bersiap2 senseng lengan nak ambush part 2, tapi this colleague kata, 'eh he already left lah. he's on leave for the rest of the day'.

hah?

but there's more...

'he'll be away for the rest of next week too'.

oh aku blank okay. blank blank blank. agaknya macam ni laa rasa kalau laki, bini lari or kalau bini, laki lari. pasrah with a capital P. so release date aku tu apa citernyer? aku terkontang kanting okay tanpa release date tuh sebab no release date = no paperwork = no offer letter = no migrate to US.

APA KES????

ok ok calm down. lepas lunch tadi, aku masuk office ada berjela2 lah assigments yg aku kena buat tapi priority aku? PLAN B.

aku ketuk bilik office supervisor boss aku. hah!

aku tanya dia ada tak dia discuss ngan boss aku pasal release date tuh. nak tau, this guy said, 'he talked to me once before, and i thought there's on-going discussion with the HR?'

hmm.. discussion with HR amendenyer? HR tu tunggu hang, hang tunggu HR buat pa??? padan laa berminggu2 nak settle release date.

aku explain yg HR tengah tunggu reply dari boss aku. boss aku takde, so terus aku kata the magic word,' so can you reply the release date to the HR?'.

haa senang kan? tak sampai 5 minit lepas tu dia terus mail HR with my release date!

HOORAY!!!! hah tak kisah pon pasal miss xxx ke yyy ke.. wah aku rasa macam genie baru lepas keluar dari botol okay.. rasanya kalau ada sesapa buat permintaan kat aku time tuh, aku kabulkan ahahahaha...

so now tunggu company baru HR buat offer letter laa. hmm..

sekarang pukul 7.09pm. jap lagi pukul 8pm janji main tennis ngan kawan opis. petang tadi hujan punyer lebat, nasib baik sekarang dah berhenti. my frens suruh bagitau kalau court basah sampai takleh main. hmm malas laaa nak turun check, lagipon kalau basah ada special mop untuk keringkan. kalau tak kering lagi, kita hembus laa ramai2.

eh lampu rumah aku asyik terbakar jek. aku ada 6 lampu spotlight in my bedroom, now 3 dah terbakar. takpe lagi coz i ada side-bed lamps. semalam satu daripada side lamp tu pon terbakar. apakah? isk, aku bukak totop lampu laju sangat ke? yelah balik gelap2 gelojoh gituw nak bukak lampu. hmmm lain kali nak bukak switch agaknya kena bukak pelan2. baca bismillah. tak boleh pakai redah jer kot.

tadi sebelum balik aku singgah bilik boss aku. bilik opis laa bukan bilik hotel ok. aku selama ni marah laa kat HR department yg lembab hantar surat offer, tapi rupa2nya dalang di sebalik kelambatan itu adalah sebab boss aku takleh decide aku punyer release date. bolley?? laaa dulu aku dah cakap, end of december ok. tapi boss aku iya2 nak tunggu this ex-colleague yg akan re-join our company setelah branch-out company yg dia masuk tu shutdown. ni kes ludah jilat balik laa nih. this girl tak confirm lagi bila buleh start keje balik sebab some complications with ex-company dia punya HR. boss aku expect dia masuk mid-november, dan boss aku nak 3 minggu untuk aku pass kan aku punya workload kat dia.

3 minggu! lama tuh. aku rasa satu petang jer pon aku buleh transfer knowledge kat pempuan tuh. bukan susah sangat pon keje aku nih. nampak jer complicated. tapi nanti aku suggest shorter transition period, boss aku ingat aku nak cepat2 lepas tangan pulak. tak paham btol. dulu bukan dia ke yg ingat aku selalu free takde keje?? ni sibuk pulak ingat aku ada berbondong2 assignments nak kena buat, padahal aku cuma reading on new technology device jer skarang nih. macam tadi, aku pegi tea-break 1 jam setengah. sibuk mende. hmm ntah laa. tengok laa esok lusa camne.

k lah nak mandi hahaha..

i'm getting my umbrella-ella-ella ready, not because it's rainy season, but because i'm going to the good girl gone bad rihanna's concert at singapore indoor's stadium on nov 13th. woooohooooooo!!!

i like rihanna. she's like the hottest singer nowadays with everything she touches turns gold. ok everything she sings actually turns gold, even platinum certified. with hit songs like unfaithful, umbrella, take a bow, don't stop the music, disturbia etc etc she's the queen on the dancefloor.

and i'm gonna see her on the front row with my popcorn on nov-13th!!

hmm. my sister wedding is on the 14th. i guess i must not party till too late that night since i plan to drive home to kl the next morning. well worst case, i can just depart a bit later 'coz as rihanna says, i'm 0 to 60 in three point five, baby i got the keys....

the concert is just called rihanna! .. which if u asked me, is a bit too-simplistic. i mean, she sang about not wanting to be her ex's murderer! the least she could do is name her tour something.

anyway, here's where i will be that night, if you plan to stalk me that is.

i paid $225 for that seat. pretty upfront huh? i haven't been this close to a big celebrity since janet jackson's velvet rope tour when i could see her ever-flowing sweat testing her water-proof mascara.

for rihanna, i guess i'll just be aware when the sprinklers come on (come on).

i'm so excited. don't tell anybody but i got my twice-a-year performance bonus this month and it's almost half a month's salary! which means, lots of party money. ok maybe just this once because god knows my mind is in disturbia, am i scaring you tonight?

so i'll just sit and wait. hmm seems that's what i always do nowadays. sit and wait. i just can't wait the point when i could say..

last month pagi2 time aku drive gi keje along the PIE, tengah lalok2 drive (drive kat singapore ni very stress free, jalan tersusun, tak jam, boleh berangan laa gituw while on the road), bila lalu Eunos, tiba2 aku passed satu gantry...

huh??

aku siap toleh belakang okee nak menyiasat gerangan apakah yg tiba2 jer dah tersergam merentasi highway dekat Eunos exit tuh.

hah terpampang sebesar2 alam.

ERP.

ERP stands for Electronic Road Pricing. it's singapore punya sistem tol laa, instead of pakai orang macam kat malaysia dan kereta kena berenti dekat tol plaza, kat singapore just guna sensor kat ERP gantry nih. kereta lalu jer, dia akan deduct amount dari kereta punya ICU (in car units) yg kita letak kita punya cash card kat dalam. selalu ERP ni cuma beroperasi waktu2 tertentu jek, macam time peak hours. bukan cam malaysia laa kan, ko lalu kol 2 pagi pon nak collect duit.

elok2 time breakfast kat opis aku belek2 paper, hah sah, 'New ERP grantry in PIE near Eunos Link exit operates from Nov 3'. Mahal pulak tuh ngkau! kalau time aku gi keje pagi2 kena $1, kalau lambat (eeekk!!) $2. terbang macam tu jek duit hasil penat lelah titik peluh aku...

i mean, how fragile is our belief until benda2 macam ni pon kita takut buat kita terpesong??



Malaysia to impose fatwa on yoga

Yoga is becoming very popular in recent times and its followers are increasing all over the world. The soaring popularity of yoga could be gauged by the skyrocketing sales of yoga books, classes and equipment all over the world.

Yoga is a traditional exercise devised by the sagea and hermits of Hindu religion but now it is spread across all religion with big followers in Islam and Christanity.

Fearing the growing popularity of yoga the National Fatwa Council of Malaysia has decided to ban yoga exercise soon. They feel that Muslims who have taken up yoga to stop practising it for fear that it could deviate their belief.


Yoga may soon be outlawed in Malaysia, if a prominent body of clerics which is planning to issue a fatwa on the practice, has its way.

Malaysia's National Fatwa Council is going to impose Fatwa on Yoga after Zakaria Stapa, a lecturer of University of Kebangsaan's Islamic Studies Centre, yesterday advised Muslims who have taken up yoga to stop practising it fearing that it could deviate their belief, local news reports said.

"A ruling would be made by the council's Chairman, Abdul Shukor Husin, in this regard," Deputy Director-General of the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia, Othman Mustapha, quoted as saying by New Straits Times online edition.
